new team coming to the S.League 2012

Sembawang FC-new club for S League 2012?
There are many rumors about this new club.Acording to the TNP,Venga would like to rejoin the S League next year with a new club-Sembawang FC.(Its not related to the Sembawang Rangers - The Stallions .Venga has formed the Woodlands Wellington(WWFC).WWFC and the Sembawang Rangers are arch rival - Northern Derby.

From the ST - Sembawang are also willing to upgrade yishun stadium by laying of an artificial pitch and expanding the current 3,400 capacity seats to 10,000.Their propose annual budget is $5m ...wowThey also gonna build its own football academy which can house 900 youngster $50m will go to the propose Sembawang Soccer Academy.Seriously i dun see how FAS gonna reject Sembawang with their "anonymous" boss willing to pump in over $60m into the planned SSA and Sembawang Utd

ST report that Fandi as TD, Tohari Paijan as head scout and Abbas Saad/Jang Jung as coach...People has said that they just want to get attention to their team.

So would there be Sembawang FC coming to 2012 S League?

Mediacorp insulting?

Do you think its insulting for the die-hard singapore football fans for showing MUTV other than our local s.league? I do.I maybe a Manchester fan but im frustrated for not showing the s.league on mediacorp channel 5.

"I'm disappointed that our own TV station MediaCorp would rather show MUTV matches rather than our very own S.League.

"As you know, recently Channel 5 has been showing MUTV almost every day.

"But why this given preference ahead of our local clubs?

"If the local media don't support the players, how are they going to increase the standard of local football?

"If there's a live broadcast, players will be motivated to play because they know there are thousands watching at home.

"Once the excitement is generated, people will start coming to stadiums to watch.

"MediaCorp should know that our local football isn't always about the nationals, u-23, u-16, and u-15 teams only.

"If our free-to-air stations can just show even one match per week that would be enough.

"I know there's a few voices saying 'S.League no hope' but have you ever watched a S.League match recently? This is something to think about, MediaCorp."

Improvements

Who thinks the S.League need improvements!I do.

The problem that I think that can be improve is firstly, their sponsor. Can all the teams get a proper sponsor???? Look at woodlans wellington, they are like in a poorly state of money. The teams should find sponsorship, not having a sponsorship to come to your office or emailing them.

Secondly, their team logo. Why must all the teams logo must be their mascot??Why don we have just a normal logo.Dont have to be very complicated.

Thirdly, their stadiums. Why wont they upgrade the stadium to be more attractive.Just look at Bedok stadium for example. Is like ghosts are occupying the stadium.

BUT MOST OF ALL, whats the use of all these improvements when all singaporeans not heading to the stadium.Come on,the tickets are like only a few dollars right...Let all these be the future of Singapore football!!!
